The St Benedicts’s College Alumni Association (Canada) held a very successful Valentine’s dinner dance on February 10th, 2024.
The event, themed “AMORE” in celebration of Valentine’s Day, was marked by an evening of unity, nostalgia, and unprecedented support for our beloved Alma Mater.
The Alumni Association extends heartfelt gratitude to all attendees, supporters, and sponsors who contributed to the resounding success of the event. With a record-breaking turnout, the Toronto community came together in a spirit of camaraderie to commemorate the rich history of St. Benedict’s College.
The ambiance of the venue was transformed into a haven of romance, with the exquisite décor echoing the sentiments of Valentine’s Day.
A highlight of the evening was the exceptional musical journey curated by Toronto’s beloved band, Skylines, in collaboration with guest artist Thrishelle Wijetunga & DJ Kush who showcased their versatility, delivering a diverse range of musical genres that catered to every taste. The association, in keeping with the Valentine’s Day theme of “AMORE,” sought to add a touch of elegance and gratitude to the event by presenting each lady with a beautiful rose. The culinary experience was a testament to the meticulous planning and attention to detail by the Organising Committee. The highlight of the evening, however, extended beyond the culinary realm. The guests were treated to the opportunity to win fabulous prizes, with the first prize being an impressive $1000. Not to be overshadowed, the second prize of $750 ensured that the thrill of the raffle extended to multiple lucky winners.
